But ultimately I will still keep supporting Tim as I think he is someone society needs for what he contributes. Wasn’t a huge fan of Criegler but I don’t hate the guy either and I would have been fine to have him still on the show. I love the show and listened since episode 1. So with this I know many of you will downvote or blast me with arguments to say otherwise. One thing I respect of Tim is that he does call bs when he sees it and so many people don’t.
People only want to pull out examples where it seems he has to be right or the smartest in the room. Or how he has changed his mind on things. Adam seems to want to think of himself as Tim’s partner and equal more than his co-host, and Tim wants to maintain creative control and, that has. My guess is Adam thinks he has grown massively and seems not to respect the 10+ years of effort Tim spent building his brand. Can’t tell you how many times I see Tim sit back and let others continually show him up in the room and he is fine with it. Adam responds to messages of support, Lydia says it’s just a break. Then to also address how many comments say you can see Tim’s ego on the show, sure he has one as many people do. I am sure Tim gets a bad rap many times because of his success and how others around him come out about it. Sure it’s easy to say he is this or that and many other people have said that with success you get to really see how people around you really feel about you. But in this and even in the lawsuit with Tim’s brother, Tim doesn’t make that part of people’s lives public. We assume it’s Tim’s ego cause we are hearing Adam’s side of the story.
One thing that stands out is that Tim has maintained that he will not air any laundry out so he doesn’t go around saying the flaws of Adam or why it ended with him. However many other people say Tim is great and is awesome to work with. Everyone seems to want to say Tim is a dick because Adam said so or alludes to it.
I know I am going to have a controversial take on this and I have heard the interview where Adam talks about why he left Timcast.
